Megan was always a very loving, happy and energetic child from birth.  She loves frogs, playing outside and animals.  When she finds something that makes you laugh, she will keep doing it.  Meg is the comedian of our family.

Megan began throwing up in August of 2009.  I took her to the doctor 3 weeks after it started because she would get better then it would start all over again.  Her pediatrician said we needed to see a GI doctor and we did.  Megan under went numerous tests they all came back either normal or negative.  Her vomiting started to increase from just a few days to a week at a time.

On December 20, 2009 I told my husband to take her to the hospital and I would take our other 2 daughters to church.  They kept Megan in the hospital and was going to treat her for constipation and I refused.  The chief of pediatrics came in and finally listen to me did a ct scan and there it was!  After the surgery, which took place on December 21st to take the tumor out, she could not use her right side.  Since then Megan is able to walk and use her right arm again.  She still has right side weakness and is doing both OT/PT therapy.

Since the diagnosis, Megan has received 16 weeks of high dose chemo and is about to start 6 weeks,30 treatments, of radiation followed by 6 months of oral chemo.  She had a shunt put in on March 12th, 3 days before her 3rd birthday.  God truly is doing a healing on my daughter and I know without him she would not be here today.
