Karon is a little princess who is full of life though she has Intractable Epilepsy. Karon has been having seizures since she was two weeks old. We have been through four neurologist from Lubbock to Fort. Worth to San Antonio. We are currently seeing an epileptologist team in Houston and on August 5th, 2008 we finally had a seizure while hooked up to the VEEG and they found the reason for her seizures which is because of her metabolism! Due to her metabolism she does have some other issues with her immunity. She also has anxiety, over active bladder and dehydration issues. We have good days and we have bad days but we will not let epilepsy control our lives. Karon is currently on zonogran 200 mg in am and 200 mg at night she is also taking clonesapan .5 mg at ngiht and when needed for cluster seizures she also has diastat as needed. She has 7 differant types of seizures at the moment........
